TRAINING

One of the main thrust areas of the KVK is conducting short and long duration training programmes in Agriculture and allied fields to benefit of farmers, farm women, rural youths and extension functionaries. Training needs of the people of the operational area are assessed and based on that on campus and off campus training programmes are conducted. These trainings enable to develop competence and confidence among the trainees for adopting the modern technologies for enhancing agriculture production and productivity. KVK also organizes vocational trainings tailored according to the need of the target group. More emphasis is given to self employment oriented trainings to unemployed youth and self help groups.
